God Eater is a role-playing action game, the first installment in Bandai Namco’s God Eater series. ###Setting The game takes place in the year 2071. The world was heavily damaged by Aragami (荒神 “violent god”), mysterious monsters that consist of hundreds of thousands of semi-sentient single-celled organisms and are capable of adapting to the most extreme surroundings. The game follows a player made character that joins Fenrir, an organization that aims to exterminate Aragami using God Arcs, the weapon made from Aragami’s cells. ###Gameplay The game consists of more than 100 missions that can be played both cooperatively or competitively. The goal of each mission is to slay specific enemies with the time limit. The God Arc is the only weapon available to the player. However, it can transform into three different forms: blade, gun, and shield. The character has various moves such as dashing, jumping, sprinting as well as several types of attack.
